You know the story. It began with hand tools. Tools that cost more than the Bridgeport that milled them.

Hand tools that, at least at first, were almost unwelcome in their arrogance and guile. A hand tool shouldn’t cost more than an oscilloscope!

The hubris!

But we misjudged them.

One by one, they entangled themselves into our own haphazardly woven lives.

And our lives were bettered for it.

Our lives were enriched.

Our confidence emblazoned.

Our work ennobled.

The good work of human beings and human cleverness and human heart, aided by our tireless and loyal machines.

Work what is never finished yet always done: keep the best days ahead, and the worst long since passed.

To keep entropy at bay, even if for just one more day.

Always.

Always just one more day.

Inevitably, these handheld companions must exit our hands,  as well as our lives,  much like they first entered them: a $25 Buy It Now listing on eBay.

There is nothing we can do to bring those crimp tools back.

But we will never forget how they made us feel.

So uh want a shirt?

I want this!
